I disagree with most other reviews - big time. We are going to Venice for our 4th trip in spring and I had not saved previous maps. I thought it would be good to have this small one but it is good only for a broad overview. Yes, you can see the main attractions and the waterbus service stops, but unless you are already close to the attraction or stop, this map will not provide enough detail to get you very far. In Venice, you really need lots of detail because many areas are accessible only by small alleys. I will give this to my granddaughter so that she gets an overview. But for an actual map, which get us from A to Z, forget about this one. The map which comes with your pass for the ferrys is better. Still searching for a good small one which is also laminated. Save your money or, if you live in San Antonio, you can have mine!Product details

Loved this small portable map on Venice! Worked for my needs and I used often, as was lost in the small alleys wandering around.
This is the map I used in Venice as it was compact and I could pull it out to check the vaporetto routes and locations of attractions.
Pretty small and hard to read.
Great for an overview, but not enough details for a DIY walking tour of the city. There are way too many small alleys in Venice that the map can't show and it only has small areas covered. Excellent pocket map for quick referencing, but not as a stand-alone map to the city.
Bought the map for my trip to Venice thinking a laminated pop out map would be helpful. I didn't think it was detailed enough to get around on the streets. I found the paper tourist maps given out by the hotel at check in to be easier to use around town.
We've been travelling in Italy for 2 weeks now. I have tossed the popout maps in the trash. Received easier to use and easy enough to carry free maps in each city we've been in. popout is too small to read easily and was a waste of money. Seemed like a good idea at the time I bought them.
I like the concept of this map but the print is very small and for Venice it is so easy to get around the city. Just walk and the there are signs all over to the different attractions!! Plus, Venice is such a great walking city...best thing to do is get lost and have fun!!!
